Matt Baker, Konnie Huq and Simon Thomas have celebrated a Blue Peter reunion 20 years after the trio presented the BBC show together.

Thomas — who now presents football for Sky Sports and Prime Video — posted the encounter on his social media.

Alongside a picture of the three, Thomas wrote: "Nice to meet up for lunch with some old friends today."

Huq previously revealed that her male co-stars were paid significantly more than her for doing the same job on Blue Peter.

Talking to the Daily Telegraph, she said: "So I kicked off, fought for my rights and upped my salary. Because I’d done maths as part of my degree, I made sure I got all the back payments with compound interest."
