Matt Damon honours four daughters with delicate tattoos

Matt Damon has paid tribute to his four daughters with a series of new tattoos of each of their names.

The actor’s new inkings were unveiled on Instagram on Monday by his tattoo artist, Daniel Winter aka Winter Stone, who counts Lady Gaga and Emma Roberts among his celebrity clients.

Damon’s tattoos feature each of his daughter’s names – Alexia, Isabella, Gia and Stella – written in delicate script on his upper arm.

The names have been inked near another one of Damon’s tattoos that reads “Lucy” in honour of his wife of 15 years, Luciana Barroso.

Damon is biological father to three of his daughters, Isabella, 13, Gia, 11 and Stella, nine, and is stepfather to Barroso’s 20-year-old daughter, Alexia, from a previous marriage.

Stone shared a black and white photograph of the new tattoos alongside the caption: “FOR HIS KIDS #alexia #isabella #gia #stella.”

The tattoo artist added that it was an “honour” to work with one of his favourite actors and posted another image of the two standing arm in arm.

Winter is based in Los Angeles and boasts a yearlong waiting list for his services, Forbes reports.

The artist boasts more than 413,000 followers on Instagram and his post featuring Damon’s tattoo has already garnered more than 15,000 likes, including one from Game of Thrones actor Sophie Turner, whom he has also tattooed
