Matt Rife's Austin comedy stop on world tour is almost sold out

Comedian Matt Rife is returning to Austin as part of his "ProblemMATTic" world tour. The 27-year-old has exploded in popularity in recent years, receiving hundreds of millions of views to videos posted to his TikTok account.

The tour will take Rife cross-country in 2023 before continuing onto Australia, Canada, and Europe in 2024.

Rife's second special, "Matthew Steven Rife," was filmed in Austin at the Vulcan Gas Company in December 2022 before premiering on his YouTube channel in April. You can watch the whole special below.

Matt Rife Austin tickets at Moody Center aren't cheap

Rife is holding two different sessions on Nov. 18 at the Moody Center, but tickets for his two shows that night were going fast Monday. A glance at StubHub showed cheap, single tickets costing about $450 for balcony seating at the Moody Center and floor tickets costing as much over $2,000.

Ticketmaster showed tickets sold out for Rife's 7 and 10 p.m. events.

Matt Rife announced world tour with Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis

Rife announced his world tour with a promo video he shared online. In the video, Ashton Kutcher is depicted as a genie, but declines Rife's request to go on a date with his wife, Mila Kunis.

Matt Rife special filmed at Austin comedy club

As we mentioned above, Rife's second-special "Matthew Steven Rife" was filmed in December 2022 at the Vulcan Gas Company. His next special is planned to be taped on his world tour in Washington D.C. at the end of this year.

His special does contain the use of profanity.
