Matters of Graves Importance: When did we stop laughing at farts?

One of my besties is a nine-year-old boy and, until recently, I forgot how important the skill of passing on cue air is to life. Hear me out. When did we stop laughing at a good gas pass? Who told us we couldn’t giggle at a good ‘ole bottom burp? Every single time the child blows one my way he belly laughs for minutes with head back roaring laughter and up to last week I would scold him for being gross. I have since changed my tune. Who am I to deny this little fella a childhood joy we all experienced? Maybe we should all laugh at flatulence more. Maybe I should grow up or maybe, just maybe, you should try letting one rip around a friend or family member and find your personal bliss.
