The old saying goes “If March comes in like a lion, it will go out like a lamb.” As unpredictable as Ohio weather has been lately we may never get an accurate read on this bit of old folklore but I can tell you this…the last weekend of February in the Chillicothe area is going out like a lion with all of these awesome events.

Tonight, come out and help us raise money for Ross County graduates as the SVR Scholarship Committee presents Family Feud at Creekside Occasions. Watch as realtors and affiliates go head to head in my version as I host the game. There will be a silent auction and a 50/50 raffle. Cash bar available. Also on site will be Mangos Authentic Food Truck. If you are downtown, bring your team of four people or less and join Justin Wood at Steiner’s Speakeasy for two rounds of Name that Tune and two rounds of trivia at 7 p.m. You can also find Name That Tune at Dickey's Barbecue. There will be four rounds and a $20 gift card for first place. For music, The Crosskeys Tavern welcomes The Davissons.

DJ J.Jones will be holding down O’Malleys from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.

March 4 is the "God's Will" movie screening at the Majestic Theatre. From the movie creator Aric Grooms…”God's Will tells the story of two minister best friends, each caught up in their own crisis of faith. The life of a professional minister can be quite fulfilling, yet oftentimes it is excruciatingly challenging. The external pressures and temptations, coupled with the internal desire to please God and serve his creation can become too much to bear for some. God's Will tells that story in a faith-based film like no other. God's Will was directed by Matthew Williams (Joker; Many Saints of Newark) and stars Aric Grooms (MidLife) and Ron Barba (Bobby Mortal) and features Nicki Valastro, Madison Setzer and a spectacular ensemble cast. The film includes original music by Troy Ervin and Cassidy Joy and other incredible musical talents.”

God's Will was filmed primarily in Southern Ohio in the summer of 2023 and features many familiar faces and places. VIP Tickets (orange seats) include a pre show meet and greet with cast and crew and photo ops.
