Sixty-five gallons of wastewater overflowed into Clear Creek because of a sewer overflow on Princeton Woods Drive East, according to a Mobile County Health Department news release.

Another 240 gallons of wastewater was released but contained due to a sewer overflow on Rangeline Service Road.

Crews from MAWSS cleared both of the blockages and are “taking steps to prevent further overflows at these locations,” the release said.

MCHD Health Officer Dr. Kevin Philip Michaels warns residents in the area to be cautious when coming into contact with standing water due to the overflows.
