May The 4th Be With You: Oak Ridge High Concert Band performs tonight
The Oak Ridge High School Concert Band will perform a free band concert at 7 p.m. Thursday (tonight) in the ORHS Performing Arts Center.
And yes, the directors have planned about an hour of music with a movie theme! The award-winning Indoor Percussion Ensemble will open with a performance of their competitive music - "When the Forest Calls."
The Concert Band will then take you to the movies with "Star Wars," more "Star Wars" - you can never have too much "Star Wars" – dragons, Batman, Beetlejuice - plus many more! It's our final concert for the year – wishing our 34 seniors all the best. We hope to see you there!

NOTE: The Indoor Percussion Ensemble earned 10th place at the WGI Worlds on April 21 in Dayton, Ohio. They are opening the concert with their show - a standing performance without their choreography.
JazzKats aren't performing tonight, but next Friday, May 12, the 'Kats are opening for the free Knoxville Jazz Orchestra concert at 7:30 p.m. in the ORHS Performing Arts Center.
