Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell, over 80 event partners and thousands of volunteers are coming together for “One Seattle Day of Service” on Saturday.
The event, which Harrell announced plans for in April, is intended to be a day of giving back and beautifying the city.
Many of the volunteer activities that require advance sign-up are now at capacity, but there are still service events set for Saturday that are in need of volunteers.
A complete list of One Seattle Day of Service events can be found here.
The mayor’s office says residents who are unable to participate in an event listed online can still help their community by cleaning their streets, making a charitable donation or simply asking a neighbor if they need a hand.
