Apr. 22—Lebanon and Zionsville Republican mayoral candidates' campaigns have raised a combined $265K.

The numbers are available through the candidates' first-quarter campaign finance reports.

In Zionsville, Friends of Jane Burgess and John Stehr for Mayor each raised a little more than $100,000. Stehr finished the quarter with $102,489, compared to Burgess' $118,414.

Stehr is a retired news anchor, and Burgess is a businesswoman. Both are political newcomers vying for the seat held by Zionsville Mayor Emily Styron, a Democrat who is not seeking re-election after one term.

The money decreases and the spread grows in Lebanon, where Friends of Matt Gentry took in $41,665 in donations, compared to the Friends of Kevin Van Horn's $2,445. Gentry is the incumbent and seeking a third term. Van Horn is a Boone County Councilman, and this is his first run for mayor.

After spending thousands on postage, signs, marketing, advertising, and the like, Burgess and Stehr each have a little more than $50,000 on hand.

Burgess' highest donations were $10,000 each from Matt Price of Zionsville and Post Road Warehousing, LLC of Monticello.

Stehr's highest donations were $5,000 each from Troy Woodruff of Indianapolis, Brad Battin of Fishers, MIBOR PAC, and a $6,360 in-kind donation of food from Susan Hoback of Zionsville.

Gentry has $38,000 on hand but also reported $10,000 in outstanding debt. He has spent $3,635 to date.

Gentry's largest contributions were $5,000 each from MIBOR RPAC, Card and Associates, CA Lebanon Fieldhouse, and Lebanon Land Group, all from Indianapolis.

Van Horn's campaign is in the red by $3,387 after spending $5,832.

Jerry Bowen of Lebanon made Van Horn's largest donation of $500.
