MBTA releases 2023 spring schedule
The MBTA has released its spring 2023 schedule. While most train schedules will only see minor changes, bus routes will operate more frequently and the ferry service to East Boston is set to resume later this month.
TRAIN
Red Line trains are expected to run every 8 minutes on the weekend. Orange Line trains will run more frequently every day, with trains scheduled every 7-10 minutes during peak times. Blue Line trains will similarly run every 6 minutes during peak times.
There will be no schedule changes to the Green or Mattapan Lines.
BUS
The following routes will have more service than they did in the winter:

137 | 4:25 PM inbound trip added. |
SL3 | 12:41 AM and 12:50 AM outbound trips added on weekdays and Sunday. |
Route 35 will operate less frequently than it did this winter as the 3:21 p.m. trip shifts to Route 34.

101 | 9:05 AM inbound trip shifts to 9:00 AM on and 7:40 PM outbound trip shifts to 7:37 PM on weekdays. |
104 | 10:05 AM inbound trip shifts to 10:03 AM on weekdays. |
105 | 6:40 AM inbound trip shifts to 6:39 AM on weekdays. |
106 | 5:15 PM outbound trip shifts to 5:13 PM on weekdays. |
111 | Trip shift in the morning on weekdays. |
132 | Trips shift from 6:45 AM to 6:43 AM and between 6:30 PM and 7:05 PM on weekdays. |
220 | Trips shift throughout the day on weekdays and Saturday. |
222 | Trips shift throughout the day on weekdays and Saturday. |
411 | Trips shift throughout the day on weekdays. |
426 | Trips shift in the afternoon on weekdays. |
429 | Trips shift throughout the day on weekdays, Saturday, and Sunday. |

108 | Trips shift between 6:28 PM and 7:00 PM on weekdays. |

The following routes will have routing changes

FERRY
Service for the East Boston Ferry will resume on March 27, 2023.
Weekend service will resume for F2H, which serves Hingham, Hull, Logan Airport, and Long Wharf, on Memorial Day weekend.
The MBTA will release its spring schedule for the Commuter Rail in the near future.
