McConnell shuts down Manchin’s voting rights compromise ahead of vote

Ahead of next week’s Senate vote, activist Stacey Abrams has endorsed Sen. Joe Manchin’s voting rights legislation compromise. The West Virginia senator released the amended bills on Wednesday in hopes of garnering bipartisan support for the reforms. However, Senate Republicans continue to oppose the legislation.
