I know it's the dead of winter and the majority of us are freezing our faces off in the bitter cold, but honestly, I don't care what season it is. My heart will never not leap for a McFlurry. Who says we can't have ice cream in subzero temps? If McDonald's classic flavors aren't enough to sway you, maybe this will: the Twix McFlurry is officially back!!!!! There's just one catch...you'll have to take a trip across the pond to get it.

A fan favorite for the fast food giant, the special edition McFlurry first made it's appearance on American soil back in 2015. However, it's history extends even further, and according to Food Beast, the dessert was in UK stores before ever coming to the U.S. I guess, they deserve to get it back before us-even if I'm still a little salty over the situation.

The McFlurry, which according to Bustle actually originated in Canada in 1995, has become one of Mickey D's most beloved menu items. And the Twix variety is clearly a hit all on its own. News of its return hit the web January 30 with McFlurry fanatics taking to Twitter to express their enthusiasm.

Now through March 19, the ice cream treat is available in two sizes: small and regular. But, I think I speak for all of America when I say this-get the bigger McFlurry. Share lots of photos online and let us live vicariously through you.

Now everyone go @ McDonalds and get the U.S. some Twix mcFlurries STAT.
