McDonald’s Donut Sticks Come With Chocolate Marshmallow Dipping Sauce Now
Remember those McDonald's Donut Sticks? They dropped in February, caused a bit of drama with Dunkin', and were an instant hit. Yeah, those. Well, they just got a million times better, because they come with a chocolate marshmallow dipping sauce now.
We first caught wind of the menu addition earlier this week when Ian K of the Peep THIS Out Youtube channel (you know, same guy who broke the Twix McFlurry news) released his review of the dipping sauce. "These things absolutely needed a dipping sauce the first time out, and I'm glad chocolate is what they decided to go with here," Ian said.
While we don't know too much about the launch, here's what we've gathered: The dipping sauce was spotted at a Southern California Mickey D's, comes with any 6 or 12 Donut Stick pack, and looks insanely good.
Per the Peep THIS Out host, it includes semi-sweet chocolate, a little bit of marshmallow, and has a creamy, thick consistency. Personally, I was concerned there wouldn't be enough dipping sauce for an entire order of Donut Sticks, but according to Ian, there is.
"I gotta say, this Chicken McNugget container really delivers the perfect portion size of this chocolate marshmallow," he said. "It coats everything very nicely. Just enough for all six pieces here, as well."
Considering he called the sauce a "beautiful situation" on more than one occasion, I'd say it's is already a fan-favorite. Now BRB, gotta get my hands on an order.
