McDonald’s brings back fan-favorite holiday treats earlier than expected

It’s a lucky day for people who are already in the mood to shamrock and roll.

Valentine’s Day hasn’t even happened yet, but McDonald’s is ready to get the paddy started.

The fast-food chain is releasing its Shamrock Shake and Oreo Shamrock McFlurry early. Starting Monday, February 5, fans can get their first mint-flavored green-colored shake of the year.

This year’s launch of the cult-favorite Shamrock Shake comes much earlier than usual, with last year’s launch occurring on Feb. 20.

According to the McDonald’s website, the Shamrock Shake is made with vanilla soft serve, blended with mint syrup and topped with a whipped topping.

The Oreo Shamrock McFlurry comes blended with crushed Oreo cookies.

The fan-favorite St. Patrick’s Day menu items are available at participating restaurants nationwide for a limited time.

Depending on size, the Shamrock drinks cost around $3-4.
