McDonald's corn maze opens with petting zoo, hayrides and new ride-n-slide

ZANESVILLE − The McDonald's Greenhouse and Corn Maze is open for the season at 3220 Adamsville Road. The corn maze this year is in the shape of a flag and features the motto "In God We Trust."

Along with the five-acre corn maze, is a petting zoo of baby farm animals, hayrides, pedal tractors around a track, jumping pillow, a Mega Ride-n-Slide for those more than 42" tall and walks through the enchanted forest.

Cost is $9 with ages 2 and under free. The slide is $6 for unlimited rides. Group visits are available for preschoolers, school students, scout groups and church congregations, which include a private bonfire. Throughout September grandparents get free admission with a paying child.

Corn maze and activities are available through Oct. 31. It's open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays, noon to 6 p.m. Sundays, 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays and other times by appointment.

The Muskingum County Library System is offering free admission from 2 to 5 p.m. on Wednesdays for those with a library card. Representatives of the library will be present to register new cardholders and have story time activities.
