McKenzie Milton somehow threw a touchdown pass to Keyshawn Helton for FSU — here's how Twitter reacted

Florida State needed a little magic after being shut out at the half.

The Seminoles started with a little inspiration. And finished with a combination of luck, experience and skill for a touchdown, cutting North Carolina State's lead to 14-7 Saturday right after halftime in Tallahassee.

The drive started when kicker Parker Grothaus booted an onside kick, and recovered it.

McKenzie Milton, starting at quarterback for FSU for an ailing Jordan Travis, then quickly moved the Seminoles downfield with passing. First, 11 yards to Jashaun Corbin. Then, 23 to Keyshawn Helton. Then on third down, a six-yarder to Treshaun Ward for a first down.

But Milton's scoring play was amazing from the start.

Taking a low snap, Milton immediately felt Wolfpack pressure and circled back to avoid it, backpedaling from the NC State 8-yard-line to the 25. He then appeared to fire the ball to an open spot to avoid the sack — until Helton appeared out of nowhere, outrunning NC State's defensive backfield and catching the ball with a foot in bounds for the touchdown.
