Stokes led the league in scoring and assists while leading the Bulldogs to a share of the league title with Green. It was McKinley's first league championship since 2019. She also guided McKinley to a second district title in three years. McKinley (22-4) faces Solon in a regional semifinal at Medina on Tuesday.

Stokes has been terrific in just about every aspect, averaging 18.4 points, 5.7 rebounds, 4.5 steals and 4.3 assists. She shoots 46.9% from the floor, 36.3% from 3-point range and 72.2% from the foul line. She also guards the opponent's best perimeter player on a regular basis.

A three-year varsity starter and four-year varsity letterwinner, Stokes surpassed 1,000 career points earlier this season. This is the fourth time in the last six years a Pup has won the Federal League's award for the top player (Nakyah Terrell in 2021 and Kierstan Bell in 2018 and 2019).
