On the eve of the 2020 24 Hours of Le Mans, McLaren has revealed a set of five tribute cars based on its extreme track-only Senna GTR to commemorate its overall victory in 1995. Called the Senna GTR LM, each is painted in the same livery as the five cars that finished 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th and 13th at Le Mans 25 years ago, and come along with some bespoke mechanical upgrades.

Behind the cabin of the Senna GTR LM sits the same 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8 found in the "normal" GTR, tuned to produce 19 more horsepower than before, for a total of 844. There's also more torque lower in the rev range, and a redline closer to 9000 rpm, raised from 8250. There's also LM-specific tips for the Inconel exhaust system, five-spoke wheels inspired by the original GTR's design, and gold-painted brake calipers and suspension wishbones.

Additionally, There are a few LM-specific touches inside the cabin, including anodized gold paddle shifters and control buttons, titanium-nitride pedals with "LM" logos, leather door pulls, and carbon-fiber racings seats with bespoke embroideries on the headrests.

McLaren has chosen not to disclose pricing for the Senna GTR LM—not that it matters, seeing as all five examples have already been spoken for. Two of the five cars will be coming to the U.S., so there's a small chance you could run into one at your local high-end car show or track event in the future.
