MCOP announces December food distribution dates
MONROE COUNTY — The Emergency Food Assistance Program at Monroe County Opportunity Program has announced upcoming food distributions. The income guidelines have been increased since the last distribution.
Upcoming dates and locations are:
Dec. 6, 10 a.m.-noon, Luna Pier Baptist Church, 4265 Luna Pier Road, Luna Pier
Dec. 6, 4-5 p.m., Dundee United Methodist Church, 645 Franklin St., Dundee
Dec. 7, 10-11:30 a.m., Bedford Goodfellows at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 8330 Lewis Ave., Temperance
Dec. 7, 4-5 p.m., London Township Hall, 13613 Tuttlehill Road, Milan
Dec. 11, 10 a.m.-noon, Redeemer Fellowship, 5303 Evergreen Drive
Dec. 12, 10 a.m.-noon, Zion Lutheran Church, 8307 Memorial Highway, Ottawa Lake
Dec. 13, 9-11 a.m., River Park Plaza (residents only)
Dec. 30, 10-11 a.m., Lower Light Church Food Closet, 400 E. Elm St., Petersburg
Income requirements are based on 200% of the federal poverty income guidelines. Those guidelines are:
Single person, $29,160 a year or $561 a week
Two people, $39,440 a year or $758 a week
Three people, $49,720 a year or $956 a week
Four people, $60,000 a year or $1,154 a week
Five people, $70,280 a year or $1,352 a week
For each additional family member, add $10,280 a year or $198 a week.
