MCSO seeking information on Chevy Malibu possibly involved in fatal Mesa hit-run
The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office is asking for help in locating a car possibly involved in a fatal hit-and-run.
The vehicle is described as a 2006-08 white or light-colored Chevrolet Malibu four-door sedan that should have sustained damage to the front end and grille assembly after striking a pedestrian on Main Street in Mesa, just before 9:30 p.m. on Feb. 14.
The victim, identified as 32-year-old Norma Jean Norko, was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the MCSO statement, the vehicle fled the area near South Crismon Road and East Main Street.
No description of the driver of the Malibu or any other details about the hit-and-run were released.
