ELMORE - Residents of Sandusky and Ottawa counties enjoyed free Thanksgiving dinners on Thursday, distributed via drive-thru from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m at Woodmore High School in Elmore. More than 50 volunteers handed out 600 Thanksgiving meals for the 14th annual giveaway. Meals included turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, green beans, dinner roll, and a dessert. The dinner is funded by churches, businesses, organizations, and families located in Sandusky and Ottawa counties.

Spenser Benefield and Lori Groll joined over 50 volunteers, in passing out 600 free Thanksgiving dinners. Dinners were prepared by Carolyn's Personalized Catering in Millbury.The 14th annual event was a drive-thru, held at Woodmore High School on Thanksgiving.
