Mean old man: Donald Trump disrespects and demeans women

Long before his 2016 election, Donald Trump displayed vicious contempt for women, particularly powerful women who dared to challenge or criticize him.

That penchant became one of the vile trademarks of his first presidential campaign. “Look at that face! Would anyone vote for that?” he said of former GOP primary opponent Carly Fiorina. After tough questioning Megyn Kelly he remarked that she had “blood coming out of her wherever.”

As president, he cruelly mocked MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski; called former aide Omarosa Manigault “that dog”; and used the word “nasty,” a favorite insult he also applies to male foes, to describe Hillary Clinton, Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Sen. Elizabeth Warren, Sen. Mazie Hirono, San Juan Mayor Carmen Yulín Cruz, reporters Yamiche Alcindor and April Ryan, GM CEO Mary Barra, Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen and most recently, Joe Biden’s running mate, Sen. Kamala Harris.

A complete list of Trump’s juvenile insults wouldn’t fit this page.
