Medford Announces Virtual High School Graduation

MEDFORD, MA — The Medford Public Schools announced a virtual graduation ceremony for the Class of 2020, a day after it canceled its socially distant commencement amid rising coronavirus cases among expected attendees.

The ceremony will be livestreamed on Medford Community Media this Saturday, Aug. 15 at 10 a.m.

The Speaking Program is as follows:

  • Mr. Paul D'Alleva, Principal's Message

  • Mr. Jonathan Brown, Faculty Address

  • Marc Alenn Jean Mary, Class President

  • The Honorable Breanna Lungo-Koehn, Mayor, Chairperson of the Medford School Committee

  • Dr. Marice Edouard-Vincent, Superintendent of Schools

  • Mr. Mark Rumley, Attorney at Law, Special Guest Speaker

  • Katherine Le, Top Ranked MVTHS Speaker

  • Rachel Klein, Salutatory Message

  • Albert Farah, Valedictory Message

  • Principals David Blauch, Chad Fallon and Lisa Kingsley will recite the Class of 2020 names
