Football players looking to leave the Russian Premier League will transfer to Beşiktaş for free, so the Turkish club can sell them to other teams.

Beşiktaş is set to receive 15%-25% from each transfer, making it a profitable venture for the club. Gazprom has reportedly vowed to turn the team into a perennial Champions League contender.

Beşiktaş Sporting Director Ceyhun Kazancı denied the team has such plans.

“I know nothing about this plan,” he said.
