Christina Chen-Milhone

Christina Chen-Milhone, D.O., specializes in internal medicine and pediatrics. She treats all ages of patients from newborns to geriatrics. Chen-Milhone has a special interest in preventative medicine/well-child care, asthma, mental health, obesity and breastfeeding medicine. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences and Master of Engineering degree in biomedical engineering from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, West Virginia. Chen-Milhone completed her internal medicine-pediatrics residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria, Illinois. She cares for pediatric patients at Lakeland Regional Health Grasslands Campus in Lakeland and internal medicine patients at Lakeland Regional Health Morrell in Lakeland.

Terrika Jones

Terrika Jones, M.D., is an obstetrician/gynecologist specializing in providing evidence-based care in obstetrics and gynecology with an emphasis on high-risk obstetrics, benign gynecology, family planning, education, and gynecological surgery. Jones earned her Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Xavier University of Louisiana in New Orleans, Louisiana. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington D.C. She completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Medstar Washington Hospital Center/Georgetown University in Washington.  Jones cares for patients at Lakeland Regional Health Carol Jenkins Barnett Pavilion for Women and Children in Lakeland.

Kunal Patel
Kunal Patel

Kunal Patel, M.D., is an obstetrician/gynecologist with clinical specialties including minimally invasive surgery, contraception, high-risk pregnancies and preventative medicine. Patel earned a Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology and a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from the University of Florida in Gainesville. He earned his medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Miami. Patel completed the obstetrics and gynecology residency program at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He cares for patients at Lakeland Regional Health Carol Jenkins Barnett Pavilion for Women and Children in Lakeland.

Michael Lam
Michael Lam

Michael Lam, M.D., specializes in family medicine and obstetrics. He earned a Bachelor of Science dual degree in chemistry and physics from Union University in Jackson, Tennessee. He earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine in Memphis, Tennessee. Lam completed the family medicine residency at the University of Tennessee in Jackson, where he was chief resident in his third year. Lam cares for patients at Lakeland Regional Health Parkview in Lakeland.

Anastasia Sokhan
Anastasia Sokhan

Anastasia Sokhan, M.D., is a family medicine physician practicing as a primary care provider and hospitalist. She has comprehensive wound care training and was trained in serving patients of all ages. Sokhan speaks English, Russian and Ukrainian. She earned her medical degree at Moscow State University Faculty of Medicine in Moscow.  Sokhan completed her residency in family medicine at Baptist Health UAMS in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Sokhan sees patients at Lakeland Regional Health Morrell in Lakeland.

Heather Wortham

Heather Wortham, D.O., specializes in orthopedic trauma surgery. She has expertise in fixing complex bones such as joints, long bones and the pelvis. Wortham also has extensive experience in general orthopedic surgery. Wortham earned a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science from Florida State University in Tallahassee and a Master of Science degree in biomedical science from the University of South Florida in Tampa. Wortham earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Lawrenceville, Georgia. She completed her residency in orthopedic surgery at Henry Ford Health System in Clinton Township, Michigan, and her fellowship in orthopedic trauma surgery at Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina. Wortham sees patients at Lakeland Regional Health Grasslands Campus in Lakeland.

Monica Cobb
Monica Cobb

Monica Cobb, APRN, is an advanced practice registered nurse who specializes in critical care. She has extensive experience working with challenging medical and surgical patients, open heart surgical patients and complex medical devices including the Impella, intra-aortic balloon pumps and continuous renal replacement therapy. Cobb earned a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. She earned an Associate of Science in Nursing degree from Polk State College in Winter Haven and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from St. Petersburg College.  Cobb earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Florida in Tampa. She sees patients at Lakeland Regional Health Medical Center in Lakeland.

Daniel Panebianco
Daniel Panebianco

Daniel Panebianco, M.D., is a hospitalist specializing in neurology. His specialties include stroke care, seizure, encephalitis and encephalopathy. Panebianco is NIH Stroke Scale certified and is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Academy of Neurology. Panebianco earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics and a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the State University of New York in Binghamton, New York. He earned his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. He completed a post-graduate internship in internal medicine and completed his residency in adult neurology at the University of North Carolina Hospitals in Chapel Hill. Panebianco sees patients at Lakeland Regional Health Medical Center in Lakeland.

Mohammed Ansari

Mohammed Ansari, M.D., is an internal medicine specialist with experience in completing procedures and managing complete medical conditions. Ansari earned his medical degree from Deccan College of Medical Sciences in Hyderabad, India, where he graduated with distinction in forensic medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. He cares for patients at Lakeland Regional Health Medical Center in Lakeland.

Certified physician assistant Chalsey Lockhart, PA, has moved to the Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery department in Suite B of Watson Clinic Women’s Center at 1400 Lakeland Hills Blvd. in Lakeland. Lockhart works alongside board-certified plastic surgery specialist Faeza Kazmier, M.D. Previously, Lockhart treated patients of Watson Clinic South internal medicine physician Agustin Tavares, M.D. Lockhart works with Kazmier in the surgical care of patients and offers treatments that rejuvenate and aesthetically enhance the skin. Lockhart earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and a certified member of the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

Brandi N. Plummer, APRN, works alongside internal medicine specialist Guillermo O. Vasquez, M.D., from Watson Clinic South at 1033 N. Parkway Frontage Road in Lakeland. Plummer received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Polk State College in Winter Haven and her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Florida Southern College in Lakeland. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Carmela Wilke, a medical assistant who serves patients of board-certified dermatologist Dr. Pamela Sakalosky at the Watson Clinic Bella Vista Building, was recently named the recipient of the Program for Employee Excellence and Recognition award for October. Wilke has been with Watson Clinic for 24 years, and is praised by her co-workers as professional, knowledgeable and organized and that her patients appreciate her kind and caring interactions and how she always goes out of her way to assist them. Wilke received a plaque, dinner at a local restaurant, a reserved parking spot and a gift certificate from the Medical Spa at Watson Clinic to acknowledge her contributions to the organization.

The Echocardiography Laboratory at Watson Clinic was recently granted reaccreditation status by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Echocardiography Laboratories. Established in 1984, Watson Clinic’s Echo Lab is a component of the cardiology department housed at Watson Clinic Main at 1600 Lakeland Hills Blvd. in Lakeland. The department features state-of-the-art technology and a team of highly-trained specialists who conduct nearly 8,000 echocardiography studies a year. The reaccreditation was awarded following a rigorous review of the department’s testing capabilities, diagnostic accuracy and the interpretive and technical abilities of its sonographers and cardiologists. Echocardiographic testing is essential in the detection and management of many types of cardiovascular disease, particularly in cases that involve cardiomyopathies (weakness of the heart muscle), coronary artery disease and valvular disorders.
