Medical Examiner: Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick Suffered Stroke, Died From Natural Causes

The D.C. medical examiner's office ruled Monday that Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick, who was injured during the Jan. 6 insurrection, suffered a stroke and died from natural causes.

- And we are following some breaking news right now. Three months after the attack on the US Capitol, we have now learned that Officer Brian Sicknick died from two strokes a day after the riot. The medical examiner determined that he died of natural causes rather than homicide committed by another person. Officer Sicknick is one of five people associated with the riot who died. So far, two men are charged with assaulting Sicknick but not in connection with his death.
