Darke County couple flown to hospital after being run over by tractor

UPDATE @ 1:45 p.m.:

A Darke County couple was seriously injured in a farming accident Friday morning.

Crews were called 13000 block of Versailles Yorkshire Road in Yorkshire around 10 a.m. on reports of two people who were ran over by a tractor, Darke County Sheriff’s Office deputies said on scene.

Deputies said a tractor was accidently left in gear and ran over Anthony Grillot, 71, and Theresa Grillot, 70. The pair were preparing to offload corn from a tractor and hopper.

The couple was taken to Miami Valley Hospital by CareFlight.

The incident remains under investigation.
