One half of the Scots' team-leading junior duo, Amano penciled in a 73 for a 12th-place tie at 1A state championships. In the District 14 tournament, she shot 74 to land in the top five.

Ella Bauries, Dwyer

Bauries was the Panthers' lowest scorer with a nine-hole average of 44, medaling in six of eight matches and posting a top-five finish to land Dwyer runner-up at 3A-District 13 championships. Teeing off in the last group of a weather-modified state match, the senior persevered through the day's worst conditions after three seasons ending at regionals. Her performance helped Dwyer make the cut for states for the first time in 31 years.

Kayla Bryant, FAU High

In addition to a state championship scorecard of 73 to tie for 12th, Bryant's stellar freshman postseason was highlighted by two second-place finishes — a 69 at districts and her 73 at regionals the low round that helped the Owls become runner-up to champion Sagemont at Key Biscayne's Crandon Park.

Ava Cavataio, Oxbridge

Only five strokes away from swiping the district championship from Benjamin, the ThunderWolves' senior shot 74 to tie for third. Cavataio came in clutch with another team-leading round of 74 for a top-15 individual finish at regionals and a top-five finish for the entire Oxbridge crew.

LeeLou Girault, King's Academy

Before shooting 74 for a top 20 placement at 1A states, the junior shot a championship-winning 73 at districts and again for second at regionals.

Alana Hall, St. Andrew's

Top five and top three finishes at state and regionals, respectively, wouldn't have been possible for the Scots had it not been for Hall's reliable scorecard. The junior shot a team-leading 72 at districts for fourth, 77 at regionals for top 10 and capped the year with a 73 at 1A state championships for 12th.

Madison Lowenstein, West Boca Raton

In true West Boca Raton fashion, Lowenstein bulldozed her way through the postseason, shooting 72 to clinch individual championships at regionals and districts. At Class 3A state championships, the junior turned in a 76, the county's lowest round in the classification, and tied for 14th.

Sara Meran, American Heritage-Delray

Meran's top 20 performance at Class 2A state championships — the only tournament played to completion as Hurricane Nicole loomed in November — led Heritage-Delray's team total of 665, which placed fourth overall. In the junior's appearance at regionals she tied for eighth, a team score of 305 crowning them match champions. At districts, Meran shot another team-leading score of 78 for a third-place tie.

Amelie Phung, FAU High

The sophomore's score of 68 was the lowest round out of all Palm Beach County golfers to compete in an FHSAA state series tournament, seeing Phung place second in Class 1A, narrowly missing the individual championship by four strokes. FAU High's team district championship at Winston Trails Golf Club was sealed by another impressive 68 and a first-place finish for Phung.

Morgan Rodriguez, FAU High

Shooting a solid 74 in both tournaments, Rodriguez added a top-five district finish and top-20 state finish to a historic sophomore season resume with the Owls.

The future is bright for the Stallions freshman. Improving from an 85 at districts, Ruidias' regional score of 76, which tied for 10th individually, helped Heritage-Delray bring home the hardware.

Zoe Shamy, Jupiter

Jupiter narrowly missed capturing the region championship, but the Warriors came close with Shamy shaving down to a 75 for a fourth-place individual finish, the lowest round of a team scorecard of 331. At districts, she shot 77, trailing a team-leading 75 from Keala Richichi, contributing to an impressive 315 score to win the team title. The sophomore was also the highlight of Jupiter's trip to Howey-In-The-Hills for state, the Warriors' low-scorer once again.

Coach of the year

Robin Fenton, American Heritage-Delray

Meran's Top 10 performance was the best of four Top 15 finishes for the Stallions in the Region 4-2A championship. The Stallions' title avenged a runner-up finish to Heritage-Plantation in districts, where Heritage-Delray fell short despite four more Top 15-worthy rounds. Although state championships ultimately saw the rival Patriots take home the hardware, Heritage-Delray still played through 36-holes for a team total of 665 and fourth-place finish to end a stellar season.
