A: “I really like hitting. You know that feeling when you hit the ball? It gives me an adrenaline rush.”

Other than sports, what would you say is your biggest hobby?

A: “Well, besides sleeping,” she said with a laugh. “I like to crochet. I‘ve just started getting into it and I really like crocheting."

If you could only have one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

A: “Chinese Food. Specifically Honey Chicken and Fried Rice.”

What’s your go-to song to pump you up before a big game?

A: “I don’t really listen to music that much. If a school is playing songs, I’ll just kinda sing those songs in my head. Mostly I just try to get my head in the game. Focus on that.”

According to MaxPreps, your team has combined for 170 stolen bases in 16 games, and you’re second on the team with 23. What explains your team’s aggressiveness on the basepaths?

A: “I actually did not know that, but that’s awesome! We just try to push forward so we can score. Coach (Allison) Abney is always like, ‘You’re gonna steal, you’re gonna steal.’ And she always has me stealing. Those steals help us move around the bases.”
