Plastic Surgeon Dr. Andrew Ordon, however, isn’t a fan. “She has a pretty face,” he notes, but her physique is “too muscly.” However, he does admit that “She could kick my [expletive] and I know that!” Attorney Areva Martin counters that Julia is clearly in great shape and her accomplishments are impressive.

ER Physician Dr. Travis Stork notes, “We always talk on the show about being proud of your own body. There isn’t just one ‘pretty.’ We often glamorize the really, really skinny supermodels.” In his view, Muscle Barbie “is beautiful, she’s built, and we know that lifting weights is a healthy thing to do – especially for women.” Weight-bearing exercise is a great way to fend off osteoporosis.

Areva adds that Muscle Barbie can inspire women to get more fit. “We don’t have to go to the gym five days a week” as Julia does, but her videos show women what they can achieve.
