Meet Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School's Top 10 Graduates of 2022

FALL RIVER — The following students are graduating from Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School at the academic top of the senior class.

Nicholas Azadnia
Nicholas Azadnia

1. Nicholas Azadnia

Nicholas Azadnia is the son of Connie and Mike Azadnia of Westport. As a student in the Electronics Technology program, Nicholas has devoted his educational career to both academic and professional success. Nicholas has participated in the Cooperative Education program at Diman, all the while maintaining rigorous course studies in both honors and dual enrollment classes.  Additionally, Nicholas is a member of the National Honor Society, the rowing program, the track team, and the Bristol-Diman-UMass College Access Pathways program, all the while maintaining his responsibilities as an Eagle Scout. Nicholas will continue his education in Electrical Engineering this fall at Bristol Community College and then at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Bishoy Mikhail
Bishoy Mikhail

2. Bishoy Mikhail

Bishoy Mikhail is the son of Nevein Nashed and Amgad Mikhail of Fall River. As a student in the Electronics Technology program, Bishoy has excelled in both his vocational program and his Cooperative Education placement at Apollo Safety. In addition to his professional success, Bishoy has actively engaged in rigorous course studies in both honors and dual enrollment classes while at Diman. Additionally, Bishoy is a member of the National Honor Society, engages in community service volunteer hours, and is a College Access Pathways student. Bishoy plans to continue his education in Electrical Engineering this fall at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.

3. Russell McComb

Russell McComb is the son of Rebecca and Daniel McComb of Fall River. As a student in the Electronics Technology program, Russell has excelled in both his Cooperative Education placement at Walco Electrical and in his honors and Advanced Placement courses, all the while maintaining his status within the Boy Scouts. Russell intends to continue his work in the electronics field this fall by maintaining his position at Walco Electrical.

Kaden Sampson
Kaden Sampson

4. Kaden Sampson

Kaden Sampson is the son of Lisa and Kenneth Sampson of Swansea. As a student in the Electronics Technology program, Kaden has devoted his educational career to both academic and professional success. While at Diman, Kaden participated in soccer and track, all the while maintaining rigorous course studies in both honors and Advanced Placement classes.  A recipient of the Chandlers Scholarship, Kaden will continue his education in Electrical Engineering this fall at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.

Sarai Benitez
Sarai Benitez

5. Sarai Benitez

Sarai Benitez is the daughter of Amanda Moscoso of Fall River. As a student in the Electronics Technology program, Sarai has successfully engaged in Diman’s Cooperative Education program, while also balancing rigorous honors and Advanced Placement course load.  Additionally, while at Diman, Sarai participated in track, cross country, and National Honor Society.  Sarai will continue her education in Electrical Engineering this fall at the University of Massachusetts Lowell.

6. Charles Magnifico

Charles Magnifico is the son of Melissa and Gerard Magnifico of Fall River. As a student in the Graphic Communications program, Charles has excelled in both his Cooperative Education placement at Modern Printing and in his honors and Advanced Placement courses, all the while participating in fundraising opportunities for Multiple Sclerosis.  Charles intends to continue his education in A2B Graphic Communications this fall at Bristol Community College and then at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.

7. Jennifer Chan

Jennifer Chan is the daughter of Mom Ouy of Fall River. Both as a student in the Business Health Assisting program at Diman Regional and while working at her Cooperative Education place of employment, People, Inc., Jennifer has excelled in her trade area. In addition to this work, Jennifer has maintained rigorous course studies, which include both honors and Advanced Placement courses.  Additionally, Jennifer is a member of the National Honor Society, an Outstanding Vocational Student, and a Key Club member. This fall, Jennifer plans to continue her education at Roger Williams University as a Pre-Med major.

8. Logan Sandbichler

Logan Sandbichler is the son of Lindsey and Jonathan Sandbichler of Somerset. As a student in the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration program, Logan has excelled in both his vocational setting and Cooperative Education placement at UG Nasons Inc. In addition to his professional success, Logan has actively engaged in rigorous course studies in honors and Advanced Placement classes and was named an Outstanding Vocational Student at Diman. Logan plans to continue working in trade at UG Nasons Inc.

9. Bryce King

Bryce King is the son of Deanna King and Ellis Ross of Fall River. As a student in the Electronics Technology program, Bryce has excelled in both his Cooperative Education placement at EMC Technology and in his honors and Advanced Placement courses. In addition to these successes, Bryce has been an active participant on Diman’s basketball team and a member of Diman’s National Honor Society. This fall, Bryce intends to continue his education at the Florida Institute of Technology.

Jacob Furtado

10. Jacob Furtado

Jacob Furtado is the son of Nicole and Neil Furtado of Fall River.  As a student in the Electricity program, Jacob has devoted his educational career to both academic and professional success. Jacob has excelled at his Cooperative Education placement at Resendes Electrical, all the while maintaining rigorous course studies in honors classes and earning state Outstanding Vocational Student status. Additionally, Jacob is a tri-sport athlete, competing in baseball, basketball, and football, where he served as team captain. Jacob intends to continue his education in Electrical Engineering this fall at the University of Massachusetts.
