Finn
Gender: Male
Age: 4 years
Weight: 82 pounds
Species: Dog
Breed: Rottweiler
Orphaned Since: Oct. 5
Adoption Fee: $150
Finn came from animal control as a stray and unfortunately, his owners were never found. He is a big boy with lots of energy. His breed has a high prey drive unless trained well. He never got that training, but he’s still young, and with patience he can be taught. He is food and toy motivated and tends to protect his toys when playing. He should go to a home that is willing to teach him some simple commands such as sitting and laying. He needs a family that loves long walks, throwing the ball and playing. A family with Rottweiler experience in the past is a plus. We don’t know if he likes cats, so if you have one, please keep that in mind. He did come in with a mass on his neck, but the medical team here removed it, and all is good. If you’ve ever wanted a playful, goofy and loyal protector, Finn might be the guy for you. Rex
Gender: Male
Age: 2 years
Weight: 56 pounds
Species: Dog
Breed: Terrier, American Pitbull Fawn/White
Orphaned Since: May 16
Adoption Fee: $150
Rex has been at SPCA Florida since May. He has a history of allergies and needs meds to protect him from fleas, ticks and heartworms. He’s a quiet fella and doesn’t bark much, so you can do all the talking. If you have another dog or dogs at home, Rex should meet them first to see whether they get along. He’s a full-grown guy who's hoping you'll visit his kennel soon to talk and play. He’s at SPCA Florida in Kennel 43A. For more information please visit: www.spcaflorida.org.
Jolie
Gender: Female
Age: 1 year
Weight: 7 pounds
Species: Cat
Breed: Domestic Shorthair Lynx/White
Orphaned Since: Sept. 1
Adoption Fee: $75
Jolie is a beautiful little lynx with a white, grey coat and gorgeous blue eyes. She was brought to us because she was one of many cats at home and it was too much to handle. Fear not Jolie, you won’t be here that long with those looks. Jolie loves to give affection, to play with wand toys, and loves to lie on your lap. She is comfortable with other cats and loves her chicken. She still has a little growing to do and would make a great addition to any family. Come visit Jolie in Linda’s Lovelies Cattery at SPCA Florida. For more information, please visit www.spcaflorida.org.

Samba
Gender: Male
Age: 10 years
Weight: 11 pounds
Species: Cat
Breed: Domestic Shorthair Black
Orphaned Since: Oct. 16
Adoption Fee: $50
Samba’s here waiting for his next forever home. Unfortunately, his owner could no longer take care of him and so he was surrendered SPCA Florida. He’s been living in our Administration Office and he’s just the sweetest cat ever. He is very affectionate and just loves to be with his humans. Samba’s black coat is smooth and shiny. Samba came to us declawed, but that does not stop him from being a normal cat. He is on a special urinary diet that he must keep eating for the rest of his life. If you need a partner who just wants to be next to you, then come meet Samba. For more information, please visit www.spcaflorida.org.
