Health care costs continue to soar. What proposals do you have to address the escalating costs of health care including prescription drugs?

I favor increased competition in health care, transparent medical pricing and nationwide insurance policy availability.

Toxic political polarization has permeated the landscape. How will you work to heal the divide?

I have served as an elected official for 18 years. I have a long track record of working constructively with colleagues across the political spectrum, while staying true to my conservative pro life, pro gun, low tax beliefs.

Illinois has been ranked as the least tax-friendly state for the middle class in the nation. Beyond the tax relief passed in the most recent budget, how will you try and help ease the burden on taxpayers?

I will work to roll back the 100% gas tax increase my opponent voted for and work to lower all Illinois taxes to make our state more competitive.
