Heather Woolery-Lloyd, MD, is an internationally-recognized expert in skin of color. She participates extensively in clinical research, serving as an investigator for clinical trials with an emphasis on increasing inclusion of skin of color patients. She serves as Director of Ethnic Skin Care for the University of Miami Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery, and is the creator of Specific Beauty, a skin care line designed for women with multi-hued skin tones. Dr. Woolery-Lloyd completed her undergraduate studies at Georgetown University and earned her medical degree at the University of Miami School of Medicine. She completed her training in dermatology at the University of Miami, where she served as chief resident. Dr. Woolery-Lloyd is also a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the Skin of Color Society.
