Mona A. Gohara, MD, is an associate clinical professor in the department of dermatology at Yale School of Medicine. She is a leading Dove dermatologist, skin of color expert, and vice president of the Women’s Dermatologic Society. Dr. Gohara is also an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. She has been published in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, Journal of Drugs in Dermatology, Skin Cancer Foundation Journal, British Journal of Dermatology, and Journal of Pediatric Dermatology. Her work includes educating the public on skin health, skin cancer and skin cancer in brown skin, and sun protection through her writing and lecturing on the local and national levels.
