Agriculture is one of downstate Illinois' biggest industries. What key changes would you seek in federal ag policy to benefit Illinois farmers?

Keep the government out of our farms. The government should be advocating for our farmers, not limiting or controlling them. We need more protection for the farmers, and the people they provide for.

Toxic political polarization has permeated the landscape. How will you work to heal the divide?

I'm running for office to get a focus back on real issues Americans are facing. The toxic landscape is permeated by the woke liberal agenda and the media that's pushing this garbage. I'll be an example of leadership and integrity the people of Illinois can get excited about. Right now, we have Durbin and Duckworth pushing their big tech, big pharma and big government agenda to the people. Matt Dubiel will push the agenda of We the People to D.C. The people of Illinois will have a person in office they can rally behind when they elect Matt Dubiel for U.S. Senate, the same way people get excited about leaders like Rand Paul, Jim Jordan and Ron DeSantis. When you vote for someone who is the "real deal" like Matt Dubiel, I will have your back.

In 2020, a record 45,222 people died from gun injuries in the U.S. including suicide and murder, according to statistics from the Centers for Disease Control. What, if anything, should be done to control guns?

Illinois 45,000 unborn died from abortions in 2020, 45,000 more died in 2021, and Illinois is on track for 45,000 or more to die of abortion in 2022. That's just one state. So are we talking about safety for all? JB locked the state down and killed our economy in Illinois for COVID, but no one shut the state down for the babies we are losing every year. Tammy Duckworth wants to "work to codify abortion into law" if re-elected. That's her focus. My focus is fixing our inflation issue, fixing our border, and standing for America First. Gun safety and gun rights are embedded into our Constitution. We need more trained lawful citizens with guns. We need to allow our police to do their jobs and we need to prosecute criminals. Illinois can not be a sanctuary state and let Chicago's crime problem infect the state. Illinois needs to void the foid & return gun safety and training to high schools.
