Meet Panthers legends, see Better than Ezra and more at the Roaring Riot Kickoff Jam

A fan club for Charlotte’s own Carolina Panthers is announcing an unforgettable experience for fans of all ages.

Roaring Riot, the Carolina Panthers’ biggest fan club, is hosting Roaring Riot Kickoff Jam at NoDa Brewing North End on Sept. 16.

The experience will combine football, live music and community, celebrating the start of the Panthers’ home schedule.

Here are the details:

WHEN: Roaring Riot members can get tickets starting Wednesday, July 12. Tickets will go on sale to the public Friday, July 14.

TICKETS: $65-$150, plus sales tax and service fee. Advance tickets are available online only.

MUSIC & EVENTS: Roaring Riot Kickoff Jam’s headliner is Better than Ezra, an American alternative-rock band. The event will also feature Arrested Development, a Grammy award-winning hip-hop group, to embrace the ‘90s theme, promising a nostalgic time. The official DJ of Carolina Panthers, DJ Vinny, will also drop some tunes throughout the day.

The kickoff also features a special surprise, with autograph signings from Panther Legends including Mike Tolbert. Guests can bring one item for signing, with additional items available for purchase on-site.

Football enthusiasts will also have the opportunity to play and show off their skills at the football activation stations. They can see if they can play at least half as good as the Carolina Panthers players by kicking field goals or throwing spirals.

FOOD & DRINKS: Food trucks will be throughout the event, offering diverse, local tastes that everyone can enjoy. Beer from NoDa Brewing will also be offered throughout the day.
