Meet the top 10 students in Brockton High School's Class of 2022

BROCKTON — Brockton High School's Class of 2022 graduated during the school's 156th graduation exercise ceremonies at Marciano Stadium on Saturday, June 4.

The following student biographies were submitted by Brockton High School. 

1. Alyce Watt

Alyce Watt

Alyce Watt is an exceptional student and artist whose art portfolio won “Best in Show” at the annual HarborOne Fine Arts Show. She will travel to Prague to study art before pursuing higher education at Colorado College.

2. Christian Nichols

Christian Nichols is a 2022 recipient of the Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship and the Ron Brown Scholarship. He will be attending Stanford University in the fall.

3. Ren Long

Ren Long

Ren Long was a member of the high school's Advanced Concert Band and Marching Band and is also a gifted visual artist. Ren will attend Brown University in the fall.

4. Emily Ta

Emily Ta served as a student representative to the School Committee’s Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Subcommittee. She also was a member of the Mayor’s Youth Council and the Brockton SPARK program. Emily will attend Tufts University in the fall.

5. Daniel Rateau

Daniel Rateau was a member of the high school's Cross Country, Swim, and Track and Field teams, as well as a performer in the high school's Marching Band and Advanced Concert Band. Daniel will attend Northeastern University.

Kylie Noone is a talented musician and a member of the high school’s Advanced Concert Band. Kylie has also competed in regional majorette competitions. She will attend New College of Florida.

7. Tamika Larose

Tamika Larose

Tamika Larose was a standout on the high school's Track and Field team and served as a co-captain this season. She will attend Northeastern University in the fall and has been accepted into the school’s Honors Program.

8. Thao-Nhi Tran

Thao-Nhi Tran

Thao-Nhi Tran was a member of the Asian Club and a peer mediator. She completed multiple training programs, including an MLSC Apprenticeship, Health Assisting Externship, and an internship with The Forsyth Institute. Thao-Nhi will attend Tufts University.

9. Madelyn MacKenzie

Madelyn MacKenzie was a member of the National Honor Society, Classical and Modern Language Honor Society, and completed programs at Harvard and MIT. Madelyn will attend Harvard College in the fall.

10. Elen Arustamyan

Elen Arustamyan served as the Brockton School Committee’s student representative and is the 2022 recipient of the Principal’s Leadership Award. She will be attending Pepperdine University.
