Preview all the adoptable pets at www.spcaflorida.org/adoptioninfo. To meet or adopt a pet come visit us at 5850 Brannen Road in Lakeland. We are open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Prior to adoption, all pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and come with a month of flea and heartworm prevention.

Triscuit

Gender: Male

Age: 2 years

Weight: 13 pounds

Species: Cat

Breed: Domestic Medium Hair – Black

Orphaned Since: March 17

Triscuit is a special little guy with gorgeous black, short hair and beautiful eyes. He is blind and has special needs as a result. Triscuit’s blindness causes him to be startled easily, therefore he needs to be an indoor cat. His home should be quiet with no dogs and only PG 13 kids. Being blind doesn’t hinder him from living a great life. He is very responsive to soft voices, a loving touch and enjoys sitting on warm laps. Is yours available? With a patient family he will learn about his surroundings and navigate his new home perfectly. Though shy at first, Triscuit loves to cuddle, be petted all the time and he loves to listen to music. Belle is shy when she first meets you but warms up quickly. Belle is very people oriented and not a fan of being alone in her kennel or the play yard. She has learned how to escape both so she can go in search of the nearest human. Because of her skill at this, the staff says she cannot be a dog that is left outside alone. She needs to be an indoor dog unless being walked or having play time with her people in the yard. Belle has been dog selective in the past so would have to meet any other dogs in the home before adoption. Please come by SPCA Florida and meet the famous Belle.
