Meet the Woman Responsible for Styling Kate Middleton
Before Meghan Markle was blowing everyone away with her love of boatnecks, Kate Middleton was out here looking flawless. And it's all thanks to a) her good taste, and b) her stylist Natasha Archer. So, who is Natasha and how jealous do you have to be of her job? The answer = keep reading/very.
She Started as Kate's Personal Assistant in 2007
But in 2014 Vanity Fair reported that Natasha (who's known as Tash) became Kate's stylist, and was largely responsible for her cool ~new looks~. "Initially Kate was a reluctant fashion icon, but now she enjoys it," a source told the magazine. "Tash helps source some of the clothes. She shops a lot for Kate online, and calls in hundreds of dresses for Kate to try on. She has persuaded Kate to take some more risks. The hemlines are shorter and Kate’s really pushing the boat out in the fashion stakes."
She's Impressively Creative
Want an example? Back in 2016 when the Duke and Duchess were on a royal tour on India, Kate wore a dress by designer Anita Dongre-and Natasha's the one who altered it. "In India a lot of women would wear this [dress] with trousers and a stole," Dongre told The Telegraph. "Her stylist has taken the stole and converted part of that into the belt and then chopped it off so it can be worn as a dress. She's amazing-it looks easy, breezy and so contemporary."

Here she is dealing with a buncha Kate's stuff in Canada-and yeah, this picture gives you a pretty good idea of how much clothing The Duchess travels with:
And here she is in India:
She and The Duchess Are Close
In fact, The Daily Mail reported that Natasha was the first non-family member to visit Kate at the Lindo Wing after she gave birth to Prince George in 2013-and she's rumored to have picked out the outfit Kate wore when she left the hospital.

Chris travels everywhere with the royals and is responsible for some of the most gorgeous photos of Kate, Meghan, Harry, William, and The Queen. We've had the pleasure of interviewing him, and he has a lot of amazing stories about what it's like photographing the royals.
Obviously, this means Natasha and Chris basically work together-though she's working behind the scenes, and he's working in front of them.

There Are RUMORS That She's About to Leave Her Job
But the Palace shut them down. Basically, Natasha was given a Royal Victorian Order by the royals, which is a top honor usually given out when a royal staff member leaves their position. However, Kensington Palace issued a statement that rumors of Natasha leaving were "totally made up" and clarified that she "is on maternity leave."
