Meet the youngest designer ever to showcase at Hampton Court Garden Festival 2019
Meet 23-year-old Will Williams, the youngest ever garden designer to present at the RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival. Working with the show's headline sponsor Viking Cruises, Will has plans to design one of the main garden highlights this year. Entitled The Viking Cruises Lagom Garden, Will's garden offers inspiration for people to make the most out of small spaces.
Tapping into the idea of Scandinavian Lagom (a term which translates to "just the right amount"), The Viking Cruises Lagom Garden aims to offer visitors an immersive experience and interaction with nature, peace and serenity. By taking inspiration from a Viking cruise ship model, Will plans to offer guests the chance to discover objects, art and beautiful plants in a welcoming environment.

"My goal is for visitors to see how they can create their own wildlife haven no matter what size of garden they have, without sacrificing the aesthetic value," Will says.
"The garden showcases clever ways to make the most of small spaces – as Viking does exceptionally well on river and ocean ships. The Viking Cruises Lagom Garden offers visitors an immersive experience, giving them the chance to interact with nature. The overall effect is one of balance, serenity and peace," continues Will.
Will graduated from the London College of Garden Design four-years-ago, and has since gone on to secure many winning contracts for commercial and residential gardening projects across the UK.
