Megan Fox knows exactly how much of a bicon she is.

The 35-year-old actress is at the beginning of a major career resurgence, where she could go anywhere and do anything. But just because she’s focusing on her bright, bright future, doesn’t mean she isn’t proud of her past. In fact, she’s especially proud of the impact she’s had on the queer community, which she is a part of.

“I can’t tell you how many girls, from 30 down into their teens — or, f–k that, my age, too — come up to me and are like, ‘I realized I was gay because of you,’ or ‘I felt comfortable coming out because of you,’ because of Jennifer’s Body and the interviews I did about being bisexual before it was cool,” Fox told the New York Post.

There’s an iconic scene in the 2009 horror-comedy Jennifer’s Body where Fox's character, Jennifer Check, is in the bedroom of her best friend Needy (Amanda Seyfried). Needy is scared because Jennifer has been acting weird, but Jennifer just wants to cuddle and to make out.

When Needy is reluctant, Jennifer says, “But we always share your bed when we have slumber parties,” and promises not to bite. The following makeout scene awoke sapphic feelings in girls and women across the country. And Fox knows just how powerful that scene was.

“That’s something that’s so important to me, that I’m so proud of,” she said. “If my purpose on Earth was to help one girl come out of the closet and feel OK about it, I had an amazing purpose here.”

But Fox is doing so, so much more. After several years out of the spotlight, Fox is starring in movies again, and her roles are juicy as hell.

First up, she plays a sexy vampire in the Netflix movie Night Teeth. After that, she’ll be starring in the dark comedy Big Gold Brick alongside Andy Garcia, Lucy Hale, and Oscar Isaac. After that, she's lined up roles in the upcoming Expendables sequel alongside Sylvester Stallone and Jason Statham.

She’s also set to star as Alana, a beautiful but dangerous crime boss who goes up against the titular love-struck killers in Johnny and Clyde. That film is an update and a twist on the Bonnie and Clyde story, but, unfortunately, is still a straight couple despite the gay-sounding name.
