Megan Rapinoe, co-captain of the U.S. women’s national soccer team, joined “Meet the Press”on July 14, 2019 to discuss her fight for equal pay. Rapinoe and the U.S. women’s national soccer team won the World Cup in 2019 and Rapinoe refused to celebrate the team’s victory with President Trump at the White House. Rapinoe says, quotingSerena Williams, that she will fight for equal pay “until [she’s] in [her] grave.”
