Make-up artist Daniel Martin was catapulted into the spotlight when it was revealed that he was responsible for creating the Duchess of Sussex's royal wedding make-up in May 2018. The pair formerly worked together when Meghan had her own lifestyle blog, The Tig, and are clearly still close; Martin paid her a visit in London this week for a bite to eat - revealing in the process that the royal is an expert at making avocado toast.

Sharing a photo of a delicious brunch spread the Duchess of Sussex had prepared for him, Martin wrote on Instagram, "Back to our Tig days... ❤️ Thank you Meghan for being the consummate hostess this weekend and still being the #avocadotoast whisperer, YUM! 🤷🏻♂️ 🥑🍞☕️ #foodie #foodiegram":

Martin's sweet post is a rare glimpse inside Meghan's life as a member of the royal family. Despite closing down The Tig, following news of her engagement to Prince Harry, Meghan's passion for food is clearly still alive and well-and her avocado toast looks delicious.

Martin regularly posts about his friend Meghan, and celebrates all of her major achievements, including the launch of Together: Our Community Cookbook. In Meghan's first major solo project as a royal, she worked with women affected by the Grenfell Fire to create a book of recipes inspired by their community

Daniel Martin regularly works with celebrity clientele, including Elisabeth Moss and Nina Dobrev, and with brands like Dior, Honest Beauty and Tatcha.
