Meghan Markle Just Broke Royal Protocol in a Very Sneaky Way
As you might have heard by now, the royal family has tons of fashion rules they have to follow in order to maintain, you know, the dignity of the monarchy or whatever. But Meghan Markle, a rebel, just broke one of these in a major way at the British Fashion Awards.

Is that...dark nail polish?!
Ummm YEP. IT IS. In case you didn't know, the royal family doesn't usually wear colored nail polish. According to Queen Elizabeth, anything colored or fake (RIP, acrylics) isn't cool. In fact, it's "vulgar." Way harsh!
Since announcing her engagement to Prince Harry, Meghan has basically followed this rule. Here is she is on her wedding day.

So yeah, you get the point. The burgundy nails today are a major departure, and a royal protocol break. But let's be real, it's winter, this is a winter color, and they look great. Do you, Meg!
