Meghan Markle Just Wore a $50 Dress With $625 Heels
If there's anyone that could anoint the next It color, it may just be Meghan Markle. So long, millennial pink—hello, regal purple.
The Duchess of Sussex stepped out to the One Young World Summit opening ceremony at Royal Albert Hall in London, wearing an Aritzia dress in a striking shade of deep purple. And, honestly, it's all we can think about.
It's actually a rewear from her maternity wardrobe: She was first spotted in the Aritzia dress in January, during a visit to Birkenhead.
Then Markle styled it with a bold red coat. Now worn on its own, though, the look is reminiscent of one worn by Princess Diana in 1996.
Markle's Aritzia dress is also an affordable pick—which, unfortunately, has sold out. It originally retailed for $138, and was then discounted to $49.99. A good deal combined with the duchess's seal of approval means, of course, it's no longer available.
She paired it with a pair of $625 Monolo Blahniks, for another great high-low moment.
