After a week of head-turning, fashion forward public appearances on their farewell tour of the United Kingdom, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex (AKA Meghan Markle) and Prince Harry have stepped out for their final public appearance at Westminster Abbey.

It's the first time Meghan and Harry have been seen publicly with Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge (AKA Kate Middleton) since the couple announced they were "stepping back" as senior members of the royal family.

Meghan looked gorgeous in a vibrant emerald green dress by Emilia Wickstead for the Commonwealth Day Service, marking the third time the Duchess has donned a bold jewel tone this week.

Perhaps saving the best till last, Meghan was the picture of elegance in the midi length design, which featured a dramatic cape that draped over her right shoulder.

Finishing off the look with a matching fascinator by William Chambers and a pair of diamond Snowstorm earrings, Meghan brought back her favourite moss green Gabriela Hearst pouch bag - the same bag she was first pictured wearing on one of her and Harry's first public engagements - which she paired with neutral Aquazzura heels:

Our favourite part, however, is when the wind blew, revealing the lining of Harry's blazer in the exact same colour as Meghan's gown:

Coincidence? We (like to) think not.

Beauty-wise, the Duchess went super glam, wearing her hair in an elegant up-do and opting for a smokey eye, rosy cheeks with dewy glow and a natural-hued lip:

Meanwhile, sister-in-law Kate made an equally bold statement in a contrasting red midi A-line coat dress:

With royal women rarely spotted wearing the same colour to any given event, it's entirely likely that the two Duchesses (or, more likely, their stylists) co-ordinated their primary coloured outfits to complement each other by selecting gloriously contrasting tones:

Recycling one of her favourite coats from designer Catherine Walker, Kate mirrored Meghan's look with a velvet floral hat by Sally Ann Provan, and kept things tonal on the accessory front with a maroon clutch, velvet pumps and elegant silver drop earrings; not forgetting of course her famous sapphire and diamond engagement ring.

In a show of solidarity, Kate and William also matched their outfits, with William donning a polka dot tie to the colour of Kate's red coat:

As this was the Meghan and Harry's final public appearance before they head back to Canada to start their new life with baby Archie, who knows when royal fans will get another stylish sighting on the two royal couples?

Hey, you never know maybe we'll get a chic Thanksgiving 'gram from @sussexroyal of the fab four, I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
