Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have beefed up their security team following some pretty alarming reports about drones trying to snap pics of their baby son, Archie. According to the Daily Mail, the couple has hired an “exclusive A-list security firm” that costs £7,000 (about $8,600) per day. Sources say the security firm also works with the likes of Jeff Bezos, Tom Hanks, Madonna, and Cher—and has been handpicked by the former security chief for former president Ronald Reagan.

A previous report from the Daily Beast made it clear that Meghan and Harry plan to pay for their own security, with the source saying, “They are not asking for any special treatment and have not received any.”

A source also told the outlet that the couple is concerned for their safety due to “unimaginable” levels of intrusion.

“They see these drones coming in at them, and they guess that they are being operated by photographers, but they can’t just assume that. Meghan received racist death threats at the time of her wedding, so the terror threat is very real for them. But aside from that, imagine if you were in their shoes facing that, how that would feel? To have drones buzzing around 20 feet above your head when you are trying to play with your son?”

Meghan and Harry have reported multiple “drone-related incidents” to the LAPD, and a source says, “They are just asking for the safety and security we all expect in our own homes to be respected.”
