Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Are in Rome for Close Friend Misha Nonoo’s Wedding
To Italy they go. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are in the land of pasta and pizza to celebrate their close friend Misha Nonoo’s wedding to Mikey Hess. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have flown to Rome, Italy, ahead of Nonoo’s destination nuptials to Hess.
The wedding itself will supposedly take place Friday, September 20, at the Cinecittà, a film studio where such names as Rossellini and Fellini have shot their work. According to one royals reporter, the couple was spotted arriving in Rome Thursday leading up to the festivities. The parents traveled without Archie, as they will be a full family unit come Monday when the entire family travels to Africa.
Nonoo has played an integral role in Harry and Meghan’s love story as the couple’s speculated matchmaker. It’s believed that the designer—recently responsible for Markle’s capsule collection of Smart Works—helped the couple meet back in 2016. Since then, Nonoo has been present for many of Markle’s life moments, including her bridal shower in New York City this past February.

Hess, an energy entrepreneur, proposed to Nonoo on Valentine’s Day during a romantic getaway to Cabo San Lucas. “Thank you for making all my dreams come true,” he wrote at the time on social media. “I am so in love with you, and I feel so lucky I get to spend the rest of my life with you right beside me.”
It will be the second marriage for Nonoo, who was previously married to Alexander Gilkes.
