Actress turned Duchess of Sussex turned L.A. mom Megan Markle has another new title: children’s book author.

Publisher Random House announced Tuesday she has penned a father-son story titled "The Bench," based on her husband Prince Harry’s relationship with the couple's child Archie, who turns two later this week.

The Duchess said in a statement that “The Bench” (quote) “started as a poem I wrote for my husband on Father's Day, the month after Archie was born. That poem became this story."

That story will now be available for purchase on June 8th, just ahead of Father’s Day.

The book is the latest venture by Meghan since she and Harry, Queen Elizabeth's grandson, stepped down from royal duties and moved to Los Angeles last year.

The couple has rarely been out of the spotlight since they gave an explosive interview to Oprah Winfrey in February, with Meghan accusing one unnamed royal of making a racist remark and ignoring her pleas for help when she felt suicidal.

They also signed a multi-year deal with Netflix last fall to produce documentaries, feature films and scripted shows.

Meghan, who is pregnant with the couple's second child – a girl, due this summer – also narrates the audiobook version of “The Bench.”
